Charles van Rijckevorsel read Dutch and international law at the University of Amsterdam and followed it up with a master’s (LL.M) at the University of Hamburg (summa cum laude). Charles is one of the firm’s founders.
In his capacity as an attorney-at-law Charles focuses primarily on the civil law aspects of the property sector. As part of the consultancy practice Charles has acquired extensive experience in the provision of assistance in relation to transactions involving the purchase and sale of capital-intensive property investments (both existing buildings and new construction projects) for both Dutch and foreign clients. Apart from this, project development, sale and leaseback transactions, collaboration and implementation agreements, property finance and tenancy law are amongst the regular components of his practice.
In addition, Charles regularly represents clients in civil law and arbitration proceedings. He is also proficient in matters involving general civil and business law. In this respect he acquired considerable experience in labour law practice at the outset of his career. Finally, as a permanent legal adviser to various car importers, Charles also possesses extensive expertise in the automotive sector.
In 2000 Charles completed a post-doctoral Grotius programme of study in Immovable Property. He is a member of the Vereniging van Vastgoedjuristen [Association of Property Lawyers].

the provision of advice to parties active in the automotive industry.
